As the Regional Director of Sales & Marketing, Jill provides corporate sales and marketing support to the sales leaders within First Hospitality. She is responsible for evaluating the hotels’ performance and creates strategies that drive results in their respective markets. Jill is also tasked with assisting in the development of the company’s sales leaders and ultimately turning them into best-in-class performers.
Jill is an industry veteran with 17 years of experience in the hospitality sector. Prior to joining First Hospitality, Jill ran an independent hotel in the River North area of Chicago. Before that, she worked at White Lodging as an Assistant Director of Sales and later as Director of Sales at the Midway Hotel Center in Chicago. While there, she oversaw 10 hotels, 5 brands, 1484 keys and 20,000 square feet of event space. Prior to that, she worked at the Westin San Francisco (Highgate) in group sales, handling the Northern California corporate market. Jill began her career in Food & Beverage, as she worked at the Four Seasons in Chicago and was later transferred to the Four Seasons in San Francisco where she moved into catering sales. Jill holds a B.A. in Hospitality & Tourism Management from Purdue University.
In her free time, Jill enjoys traveling and is a self-proclaimed enthusiast, so much so that she boldly stands by the idea, “Traveling makes the world a kinder place.” She makes a conscious effort to experience one new international and one domestic destination every year.
