As the Director of Legal Services, Marta is responsible for overseeing, monitoring, and maintaining compliance within First Hospitality’s corporate office as well as the portfolio. Her time is focused on licensing, permitting, and pre/post opening inspections from select service to full-service hotels, risk management, loss prevention, contract review and negotiations of local and national vendor service providers, corporate compliance, record keeping and retention, and energy management.

Marta has been in the hospitality industry for over 20 years. Prior to joining First Hospitality, she worked for Hyatt Corporation’s corporate legal department as Manager of Legal Services. She holds multiple degrees in Paralegal Studies, as well as Business and Hotel Management from various educational institutions and is a member of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. She is a licensed City of Chicago Expediter and holds national food and liquor service manager certifications. Marta is also a board member on the Planning and Zoning Commission in her local township.

In her free time, Marta loves to travel, teach spin/cycling classes and spend time with her friends and family. She has been married for over 12 years and has a stepdaughter.
