Melissa Schultz

Director of Payroll

As Director of Payroll, Melissa manages and oversees the Payroll department. Her responsibilities include maintaining the payroll process, updating the payroll records through reviewing, approving changes in exemptions, directing the production/issuance of paychecks and electronic transfers to their bank accounts by designing streamlined systems. She also directs the collection, calculation, and entry of payroll data.

Melissa has been with First Hospitality for nearly 20 years, having previously served as the Payroll Administrator for a hotel in Rosemont. She attended Daytona Beach College and is currently studying payroll education through the American Payroll Associate. Melissa is a member of the Chicago Chapter of the Payroll Association as well as a member of the American Payroll Association.

In her free time, Melissa enjoys spending time with her family, baking, reading, and taking care of her dog. Additionally, she enjoys long walks and focusing on her fitness goals.
