As the Chief Operating Officer, Paul is responsible for the overall performance of First Hospitality’s hotel portfolio in all key metrics. These metrics include top-line performance, bottom-line results, guest service, associate satisfaction, and the overall care and maintenance of the physical assets. Paul works with a crew of regional team members to provide support and guidance to the hotel team to maximize returns for key stakeholders, most notably First Hospitality’s owners, guests, and associates. Additionally, he works with all of the divisions within the corporate office to ensure that First Hospitality’s focus is aligned with their business needs and objectives.

Paul has been in the hospitality industry for nearly 40 years and has worked with brands such as Westin, Marriott, Renaissance, Hilton, and Hyatt. Prior to joining First Hospitality, Paul served as Senior Vice President of Operations for the Procaccianti Group, overseeing a large portfolio of full service and lifestyle branded hotels on the east coast. He also served as the VP of Hotel Operations for Lodgian, a publicly-traded hospitality company after his long tenure at Tollman Hundley Hotels, where he started as a Food and Beverage Manager and progressed to General Manager, before being elevated to a VP of Operations position at the age of 32. Paul started his career as a Sous Chef at Resorts International Casino Hotel in Atlantic City, NJ after completing his undergraduate studies at the University of Delaware, where he majored in Political Science.

In his free time, Paul likes to go boating, golfing, traveling and enjoys exploring new cultures, trying new things, and spending time with his family. He has been married to his wife Sharon for 33 years, has four children and will become a grandfather for the first time in October 2019.
