Suzanne Saunders serves as the Senior Vice President of Construction & Renovations. In her role, she is responsible for the leading and oversight of the construction and renovations teams in all aspects of development, capital expenditures and project management activities. Suzanne also has department oversight of budgets, logistics, and financial analytics for construction tasks, all while cultivating the goals and mission of every individual project at First Hospitality. Suzanne has over 30 years of experience in the industry working with nationally branded companies in construction management with an emphasis in the hospitality, restaurant, and retail industries.

Prior to joining First Hospitality, Suzanne spent over four years working for Hospitality Ventures Management Group (HVMG), serving as the vice president of design and construction, leading the execution of many renovations and development projects. She has also worked for Hyatt Hotels and Resorts in a variety of roles, including vice president of design services for the Americas, where she supported the launch of Hyatt Place and Hyatt House select service brands. Additionally, Suzanne has a background in corporate real estate and development management roles, as well as manufacturing and logistics planning experience with LTV Aerospace/Northrup Grumman as an industrial engineer where she supported the design and manufacturing of the B-2 Stealth Bomber Program. Suzanne holds a BS in Industrial Technology and an AAS in Drafting Technology from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas. Suzanne is a member of Castell, an AHLA Foundation Project and NEWH.

In her spare time, Suzanne enjoys watching sporting events, traveling, and experiencing new places, spending time with her family and cooking. She is also a proud dog mom to her three dogs; Griffin, a Portuguese Water Dog; Jack, a Lagotto Romagnolo and George, a Barbet.
